"5 º Festival América do Sul."

Between 30 April and 4 May 2008 was carried out the city of Corumbá, in Mato Grosso do Sul, the "5 º Festival América do Sul."
During those days, and full Brazilian Pantanal, artists from different disciplines and countries exhibit our work. At the Institute Luis Albuquerque, curated by Rafael Maldonado, was held the exhibition "A year slide side." There were drawings paintings, video installations, interventions and performances in Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina.


As Argentine representative, Felix Torrez submitted two proposals: "Not so sacred Scriptures, drawings in pen on paper and" O sonho da casinha proprio ", a facility that is part of a work project called "Dreams."
on the Brazilian experience was very rewarding and highly positive, because of the possibility to make links with other artists and to make contact with an event that adds a grain of sand to the integration and cultural exchange between our countries.
